And the Bride Wore Black: The Ultimate Fall Wedding, Austin
October, 22 2019
In the sea of pastel hues and ethereal wedding whites, this is a wedding which will take you by surprise. With Halloween just around the corner, this wedding perfectly captures the spirit of the season. At the Wildflower Barn, Jamie and Dalton incorporated sophisticated, beautiful elements echoing the fall colors and the simple woodsy vibe-all done up in good taste.
Jamie looked like a breathtaking sight in her incredible black gown, disrupting the norm with style. The stunning gown adorned in delicate lace details on sleeves and white tulle has not one ordinary thread in it! With the floaty dress, the braided updo and her cascading bouquet of seasonal blooms, Jamie demonstrated that you don't need a white dress to be the gorgeous bride!
The bridal bouquet was a piece of art on its own, with seasonal foliage and flowers in burgundy, ruby and pale pink roses. The bridesmaids complimented the bride by wearing shades of lavender and burgundy, adding visual interest and depth to the wedding.
Dalton wore a burgundy tux while his men dressed up in black and burgundy, thereby bringing harmony to the color palette. We love how the color choices are not as per usual but have perfect symmetry with each other.
This means one thing- one-of-a-kind and stunning wedding photography! The wedding photographer caught some striking portraits of the minimalistic couple, dressed up only by the charming green background. The couple didn’t need an ornate or busy background for beautiful photos. The wedding day details were the highlight!
The colors used in the decor and floral arrangements were warm and cozy, mirroring the changing hues of fall. The decor was minimal but packed a punch on impact. Small bud vases and greenery lined the center of the tables, while votives and greenery accented the rich tones. The wooden hues and the warm fairy lights accentuate the autumnal vibe of the wedding.
The wooden dining table was dressed to the nine with golden accents and black candles to add in the pinch of gothic, victorian charm. The dessert table is enchantingly beautiful with the same black and gold details and the stunning woods in the background!
This is one fall wedding which comes loaded with character, low on the frills and is all about showcasing the couple’s personalities. If that's not the perfect Halloween wedding, what really is?
