November, 30 2022
Fall is the perfect season to tie the knot and rightfully so! Although a fall wedding, to most of us, is filled with the smell of cinnamon, pumpkin spice, and beautiful pumpkin decor, courtesy of the universal love of Halloween, every once in a while, there’s something different. Today, we’re here to talk about the lovely wedding of Mary MacKenzie and Royce Haas. The wedding was nothing short of beautiful, delicate wedding decor, and a celebration of love in all of its grandeur. Their wedding was filled with happy moments, the love of their family members, and the happy smiles of their closest friends; all of which gave the beautiful couple some happy wedding photos. Our Detroit wedding photographer met the couple as they were getting ready, right before leaving for their wedding ceremony venue, Historic Trinity Lutheran Church. The wedding day was scheduled to take place in two different venues, after the ceremony in the church, the reception party venue was about a 30-minute drive from the church in the Inn at St. John's Plymouth. Both of the venues for the wedding were as pretty as a picture, and when the couple walked into both of these venues, everything felt like it had just come to life. Before the day started, the couple was buzzing with excitement. With starry eyes, the two decided to get dressed for the day they had planned carefully over the past few months.

Cozy Winter Wedding Lighting Ideas

As you begin wedding planning, the right lighting is essential for both your wedding ceremony and wedding reception, and also for your wedding photography session. So, to have a mesmerizing and charismatic wedding lighting decor, consider ideas like creating a focal point throughout the wedding venue, such as your wedding altar, the dance floor, head table, photo booth, or dessert and cocktail bar. You can also look to lighting ideas to help transition from one wedding activity to another. For your winter wedding dinner, you can consider elegant bistro lights over wedding reception tables or can even brighten up the space. But, when it is the time for the party to begin and pep up, bring up the energy to the fullest level and get all your wedding guests out on the dance floor with dimmed overhead lights and pops of your wedding colors.
